Recipe Ingredients for Baked Spring Rolls - Kawan Spring Roll Pastry

1 tbsp canola oil
3 cloves garlic, sliced into thin strips
2 g ginger, sliced into thin strips
150 g cabbage, thinly shredded
12 g leek, thinly shredded
100 g cauliflower, finely chopped
100 g carrots, shredded
60 g sweet red pepper, thinly sliced
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch star anise, powdered
10 ml soy sauce
1 1/4 ml sesame oil
1 tbsp canola oil
150 g 6 sheets spring roll pastry

Recipe Directions for Baked Spring Rolls - Kawan Spring Roll Pastry

  1. Defrost pastry as instructed on package.

  2. Cook veggies till soft with spices, soy sauce & sesame oil. Begin by sautéing garlic, leek and ginger in 1 tbsp canola oil.

  3. Preheat oven to 200C.

  4. Fill and roll up pastry to form 6 spring rolls. Place on non-stick baking sheet or on baking paper. Brush with little oil and bake till golden.
