Crispy baked spring rolls filled with ground chicken and veggies cooked in ready-made chop suey sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Spring Rolls with Chicken and Veggies

200 g ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 g ginger, chopped
170 g Chinese cabbage, thinly shredded
12 g leek, thinly shredded
65 g carrots, shredded
75 g sugar snap peas, thinly sliced
55 g mushrooms, chopped
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch star anise, powdered
120 g Blue Dragon chop suey stir-fry sauce
1/2 tsp canola oil
150 g 6 sheets spring roll pastry

Recipe Directions for Baked Spring Rolls with Chicken and Veggies

  1. Defrost pastry as per instruction on package.

  2. Heat a nonstick frying pan on medium. Add in ground chicken, garlic, ginger and leeks. Brown meat.

  3. Add in mushrooms, peas and stems of cabbage. Cook for 2 min before pouring in sauce. Add in herbs.

  4. Add in carrots and rest of cabbage. Cook till carrots just begin to soften. Remove from heat and cool slightly.

  5. Preheat oven to 200C.

  6. Fill and roll up spring rolls. Seal edges with water. Brush with very little oil. And place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  7. Bake until golden and crispy.

  8. Serve warm with your favourite dipping sauce.
