Recipe Ingredients for Baked Shrimp w/ Bell Peppers and Tomatoes

1 lb shrimp, raw
1 large green bell pepper, sliced
1 large tomato, diced
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Baked Shrimp w/ Bell Peppers and Tomatoes

  1. De-vein and de-tail the shrimp (if necessary).

  2. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

  3. Marinate the shrimp with the turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, chilli powder and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Set aside for 15 mins.

  4. Coat suitable baking tray with 1/2 tsp olive oil. Transfer marinated shrimp and bake for 15 mins.

  5. Chop bell peppers and tomato and keep aside till shrimp is done.

  6. Once shrimp is cooked, transfer the shrimp into a pan. Don't strain the juices. Add chopped bell peppers and tomato and let simmer on high heat for about 15 mins, or till juices evaporate. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve immediately.
