Delicious baked scallops with butter and garlic

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Scallops

4 tablespoons smart balance, melted
1 1/2 pounds bay scallops, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Baked Scallops

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. Put butter and garlic cloves in glass baking dish. Melt butter in microwave for 30 seconds. Pour butter and garlic in bowl.

  3. Rinse and drain scallops.

  4. Combine the bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, and Parmesan cheese in a large ziploc bag. Dip scallops in butter/garlic mixture and then put in bag. Gently toss scallops until envenly coated.

  5. Pour any butter back into glass baking dish. Put breaded scallops into baking dish. Sprinkle additional breading mix onto scallops.

  6. Bake in pre-heated oven until scallops are firm, about 20 to 25 minutes.
