The combination of Dijon mustard and Brown sugar on Salmon probably sounds strange but it is wonderful combination. Use Panko flakes for a lighter crust.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Salmon with Mustard Brown Sugar Topping

3 oz salmon
2 T dijon mustard
2 T Brown sugar
1/4 c bread crumbs

Recipe Directions for Baked Salmon with Mustard Brown Sugar Topping

  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees

  2. Lightly oil a baking dish

  3. Wash salmon filet and pat dry with paper towel - cut off skin

  4. Put into baking dish and cover with mustard and then brown sugar

  5. and breadcrumbs.

  6. Put into oven and cook 10-15 minutes until fish flakes but is not dry.

  7. You can substitute Panko flakes for breadcrumbs
