Recipe Ingredients for Baked Ricotta Custard

4 ounces part-skim ricotta cheese
4 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup splenda
1 egg
1 egg white
1/4 cup half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 Cinnamon for garnish

Recipe Directions for Baked Ricotta Custard

  1. Have cream cheese at room temperature

  2. In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat ricotta and cream cheese until creamy. Add Splenda and beat until well combined. Add egg, egg white, half-and-half and vanilla. Beat until well blended.

  3. Transfer mixture to 4 8-ounce ramkins. Place ramekins in baking dish, adding hot water to a depth of 1 inch.

  4. Bake at 250 degrees until custards are set, about 45 minutes.

  5. Remove from water bath and cool on rack.

  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature, sprinkled with cinnamon.
