Taken from my mother's old cookbook, The American Woman's Cookbook, 1954

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Rice and Cheese

3 cups cooked rice
2 cups grated mozzarella
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup of skim milk
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Baked Rice and Cheese

Arrange layers of cooked rice, cheese, rice, ending with cheese in a greased baking dish. Add milk. Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
