Recipe Ingredients for Baked potato soup

2 1/2 pounds potatoes
2 large carrots
2/3 cup flour
6 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sour cream
2 ounces cheddar cheese
2 ounces green onion

Recipe Directions for Baked potato soup

  1. Peel cooked potatoes and mash.

  2. Put flour in a large Dutch oven, gradually adding milk, stirring with a whisk until belnded. Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly (about 8 minutes).

  3. Add mashed potatoes, cheese, and pepper, stirring until cheese melts. Remove from heat.

  4. Stir in sour cream and onions. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Each serving is approximately 1.5 cups.
