Recipe Ingredients for baked pear

1 pear
1/4 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp honey

Recipe Directions for baked pear

  1. pre-heat oven to 375F

  2. peel, halve, and core the pear

  3. melt butter in oven-proof dish

  4. sprinkle sugar over butter

  5. place pears face-down in dish

  6. sprinkle with balsamic

  7. sprinkle with honey

  8. cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes

  9. uncover, baste pear halves, bake for a further 15-20 minutes, or until pears are soft

  10. serve with fresh goat cheese
