8 Servings of pasta made with 1 block Kraft Mozz., 1/2 colby, Bob Evans Zesty Hot pork sausage, Light Ragu, Barilla Whole Wheat Penne, and a little bit of Parmesano Reggiano

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Pasta with Sausage

8 oz part-skim Mozzarella Cheese
4 oz Colby Jack Cheese
1 lb Hot Pork Sausage
13 oz light pasta sauce
1 oz Parmesan cheese
13 1/4 oz Whole Wheat Penne

Recipe Directions for Baked Pasta with Sausage

  1. Cook Whole Wheat pasta al Dente

  2. Brown Sausage in pan. Drain, then add pasta sauce to pan.

  3. Layer Pasta, then meat/sauce mixture, and half of the cheese.

  4. Top with another layer of Pasta, sauce/meat mixture, and the rest of the cheese.

  5. Top with a small amount of freshly grated Parmesano Reggiano.

  6. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 25-35 minutes.
