Baked Oatmeal Recipe

Makes 4 servings



Adapted from RecipeZaar. Mix together, refrigerate overnight, and bake in the morning

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Oatmeal

2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup skim milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Baked Oatmeal

  1. Preheat oven to 325

  2. In large bowl combine dry ingredients

  3. Mix in wet ingredients

  4. Pour into sprayed casserole dish

  5. Bake for 30-45 minutes

  6. Serve warm

  7. I serve with honey-vanilla yogurt so I do not add additional sweetener to the baked oatmeal. If I were serving alone, I would add 1/4 cup brown sugar.
