baked "banana bread" oatmeal breakfast

Recipe Ingredients for baked oatmeal

1 cup oats
2 tbsp liquid egg whites
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup skim milk
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp cinnamon
30 grams raisins
2 tbsp apple sauce
1 banana
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for baked oatmeal

  1. preheat oven to 375

  2. combine dry ingredients in bowl

  3. combine wet ingredients in a bowl and stir

  4. combine box dry + wet

  5. mix, and add raisins

  6. pour in lined parchment papered baking dish or a dish with cooking spray

  7. bake on 375 for 25-30 minutes add the banana at 20 minutes so it browns

  8. use any sweetener of choice, maple, honey, agave or brown sugar { or add in stevia or splenda before cooking }

  9. top with walnuts and enjoy! :)
