Makes 8 servings



Hot and healthy breakfast. You can mix this in the evening and refrigerate it overnight. Just pop it in the oven first thing when you get up!

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Oatmeal

1 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup egg beaters
3 cups uncooked rolled oats
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Baked Oatmeal

  1. In a good-sized bowl, stir together oil, appplesauce, sugar, and eggs.

  2. Add dry ingredients and milk. Mix well.

  3. Spray 9x13 pan generously with nonstick cooking spray. Spoon oatmeal mixture into pan.

  4. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes
