From MennoniteGirlsCanCook.com -- modified to use 1 cup applesauce rather than a cup of oil

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Oatmeal

1 cup applesauce
4 eggs
4 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
6 cups oatmeal
2 tsp salt
3 cups skim milk

Recipe Directions for Baked Oatmeal

  1. Mix everything together.

  2. Pour into a greased 9 by 13 in. pan.

  3. Bake at 350 for 30 min.

  4. Let set for a few minutes so that it may be cut into serving size pieces.

  5. Leftovers freeze well.

  6. Serve with milk and fruit(fresh or dried).
