a simple warm oatmeal breakfast cookie

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Oatmeal

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Baked Oatmeal

  1. melt butter

  2. pour in milk

  3. whisk in the rest of the wet ingredients.

  4. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl

  5. Stir in wet ingredients

  6. pour into a greased cookie sheet or a 9x13 pan for a thicker softer cookie texture.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.

  8. Serve warm with milk.
