Amish style baked oatmeal. I substituted 1/2 cup applesauce for 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup Egg Beaters for 2 eggs.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Oatmeal II

3 c. rolled oats
1 c. brown sugar
2 t. ground cinnamon
2 t. baking powder
1 c. 1% milk
1/2 c. Egg Beaters
1/2 c. applesauce
2 t. vanilla extract
3/4 c. dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Baked Oatmeal II

  1. Preheat oven to 3350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

  2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Beat in milk, Egg Beaters, applesauce, and vanilla extract. Stir in dried cranberries. Spread into a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
