Baked in the oven, these area quick, easy and delicious!

Recipe Ingredients for Baked meatballs

1 medium onion
2 celery stalks
1 lb ground beef, lean
1 clove garlic, minced
1 egg
3 oz bread crumbs
4 oz parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp canola oil

Recipe Directions for Baked meatballs

  1. Chop the onion and celery in a food processor.

  2. Change the food processor blade to a mixing arm.

  3. Add the ground beef and all other ingredients except the oil and run the food processor until it is well mixed together.

  4. Roll the mixture into small balls (~1 inch in diameter).

  5. Brown the meatballs in a hot frying pan in the canola oil in batches of no more than 12.

  6. Place the meatballs on a cookie sheet or broiler pan.

  7. Bake in a 350F oven for 20 minutes.
