The traditional favorite-- egg-free, three types of cheese!

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Macaroni and Cheese

8 oz pasta
4 tbsp butter without salt
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups 1% milk
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1 1/4 cup shredded 2% cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Baked Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Cook macaroni pasta according to package, drain.

  2. Melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat, add bread crumbs and toss to coat. Set aside.

  3. Melt remaining butter in another sausepan over medium heat. Blend in onion powder, flour, mustard, pepper and 1 tsp salt.

  4. Stir in milk and cook, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat, stir in cheese.

  5. Pour macaroni into 9x13 baking dish, sprayed with cooking spray. Spread cheese sauce on top of pasta.

  6. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
