Lasagna, meat and ricotta cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Lasagna

1 1/2 lb ground beef
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
6 oz. tomato sauce
16 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
16 oz. Ricotta cheese
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 med. onion (chopped finely)
3 cloves garlic (chopped finely)
6 oz. lasagna noodles
1 tsp. Salt to taste or Accent
1 tbsp. Olive oil

Recipe Directions for Baked Lasagna

  1. 1. Boil noodles in salt and olive oil until soft, drain and set in cold water until ready for use.

  2. 2. Brown ground meat with onions, garlic, oregano, garlic powder and salt (Accent). Brown for 15 minutes. Add spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Remove from heat.

  3. 3. In regular size lasagna pan spread some meat sauce on bottom of pan. Layer across lasagna noodles on top. Spread more meat sauce on noodles and Ricotta cheese and spread evenly. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top. Layer more lasagna noodles and continue layers until top of pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
