This is so good, it's hard to stop eating. You can use chicken broth if you perfer. Bake at 375

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Garlic rice Pilaf

2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 cup of brown rice
2 1/2 cups of water
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper

Recipe Directions for Baked Garlic rice Pilaf

  1. Heat oil in a skillet; add garlic and rice and cook until both are golden brown.

  2. Add 1 cup of broth and the salt and pepper

  3. Bring to a boil and pour into a covered casserole; bake for 25 minutes.

  4. Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups of water; cook for another 45 mintues.

  5. This can be doubled without increasing the cooking time.
