Cross between bread pudding and french toast.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked French Toast

10 ounces French Bread
8 eggs
3 cups 1% milk
1/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Baked French Toast

  1. Grease a 9X13 baking dish

  2. Cut bread into 18 1" thick slices & arrange in a single layer in the bottom of the pan

  3. Beat eggs, milk sugar, salt and vanilla in large bowl.

  4. When thoroughly mixed, pour over bread in pan

  5. Cover - may be set to soak in fridge overnight, or baked immediately

  6. Place dish in cold oven, then turn oven on to 325

  7. Bake 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown on top and set.
