Recipe Ingredients for Baked French Toast Casserole

16 oz French bread
8 eggss
1 c skim milk
2 c half and half
2 T sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 dash salt
1 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 c pecans

Recipe Directions for Baked French Toast Casserole

  1. Slice bread and arrange evenly in 9 x 13 pan.

  2. Combine eggs through salt and beat till blended.

  3. Pour mixture evenly over the bread slices, scooping some between.

  4. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

  5. Combine butter through pecans and, in the morning, spread over bread.

  6. Bake 40 min at 350F.
