Recipe Ingredients for Baked cinnamon breakfast bites

1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup rice Krispie cereal
1/2 cup sugar plus 2 tbl, divided
3 tbl baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter flavored shortening
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Baked cinnamon breakfast bites

  1. Mix flour, crushed cereal, sugar, BP, and salt in large bowl.

  2. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. Add milk and stir until just moisened.

  4. Roll dough into approx 2 1/2 dozen 1 inch balls.

  5. Mix cinnamon and remaining sugar in a small bowl.

  6. Drop balls into melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

  7. Bakeuntil inserted toothpick comes out clean
