Recipe Ingredients for Baked Chicken with Tomato & Basil

1 Chicken Breast
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 tablespoon fresh basil
1/2 tablespoon fresh oregano
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teasppon minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
4 slices tomato

Recipe Directions for Baked Chicken with Tomato & Basil

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a shallow 1-quart baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. Sprinkle the chicken evenly with salt and pepper. Arrange the chicken in a baking dish and sprinkle evenly with basil, oregano, onion powder and garlic. Drizzle with the olive oil. Arrange the tomato slices evenly over the chicken, and drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes.
