Healthy alternative to traditional chicken strips. Can be prepared in batches and frozen.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Chicken Strips

500 g chicken breast
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried basil
1 pinch dried red pepper
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1/2 cup yogurt, fat free
1 tsp minced garlic

Recipe Directions for Baked Chicken Strips

  1. Pound chicken brasts until about 1/4 inch think. Cut into strips 1/2 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches long.

  2. In pie plate, combne cheese, bread crumbs, thyme, basil, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper. In a small bowl, combine yogurt and garlic.

  3. Dip chicken in yogurt, then in crumb mixture. Place on baking sheet.

  4. Bake at 425F for 15 mins or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
