Modified recipe for wings; made with lean chicken breasts.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked chicken

4 chicken breasts
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp garlic powder
5 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp mustard

Recipe Directions for Baked chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine olive oil, garlic powder, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard; mix well.

  3. Dilute ketchup with soy sauce and water.

  4. Add ketchup mixture to saucepan mixture.

  5. Let simmer for 15 minutes.

  6. While sauce is simmering, cut chicken breasts into strips and place in boiling water for 5-10 minutes.

  7. Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish (line with foil or spray baking dish with cooking spray).

  8. Pour saucepan mixture over chicken.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven, covered for 20 minutes and then uncovered for 20 minutes.

  10. Serve over rice.
