Recipe Ingredients for Baked Chicken Parm

6 oz chicken tenders, 6 strips
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
8 servings tomatoes, canned, whole
1/8 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
4 oz whole wheat pasta, cooked
10 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Baked Chicken Parm

  1. Roast garlic in olive oil for 45 minutes.

  2. Blend canned tomatoes and garlic in a blender and add parm and basil to sauce and stir.

  3. Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper.

  4. Nestle chicken into sauce and cover completely.

  5. Top with mozzarella cheese and cover loosely with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Serve on top of cooked pasta.
