1 pound winter squash
6 tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for baked butternut squash

  1. halve the butternut squash

  2. cut cslices in it to allow butter & brown sugar to melt into the halves

  3. lay thin slices of butter on the halves

  4. sprinkle the brown sugar over the halves

  5. bake at 350 degrees for 45min or until tender

  6. let cool and peel away the skin, serve in chunks or mash
