Recipe Ingredients for Baked Beef Ziti

1 lb ground beef
28 oz crushed tomatoes
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp basil
16 oz ziti
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Baked Beef Ziti

  1. Cook Ziti as directed on the box.

  2. In the meantime, cook the garlic in the olive oil. Then add the beef and cook until browned.

  3. Then add the crushed tomatoes and the basil to the drained beef.

  4. Once both are done cooking, put a thin layer of saue in the bottom of a baking dish.

  5. top with 1/2 the ziti, then 1/2 the sauce. then once half the cheese and repeat.
