This is the revised recipe of my Mom's original recipe, I added a lot to the recipe of what she uses sometimes. She changes it up.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Beans

6 sliced bacon, diced
2 cups chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
22 ounce pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cups brown sugar
20 ounce diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Baked Beans

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. In a oven, cook bacon over medium heat unitl browned and crispy. Add onions anda dash of salt and pepper. Allow to cook for a few minutes

  3. In a large bowl, mix together pinto beans, brown sugar and diced tomatoes. Add to oven and allow cooking.

  4. Add 1 cup of water to pot. Cook for 30 minutes.
