Recipe Ingredients for Baked Bananas

2 bananas
1 tsp brown sugar
3 tbsp Promise spread
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Baked Bananas

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Slice bananas in half lengthwise and place peel side down in a baking dish.

  3. Place bananas in oven.

  4. While bananas are baking, heat a small skillet on low heat.

  5. Add the Promise to the pan.

  6. When the Promise is melted, add the brown sugar and stir.

  7. When the sugar is dissolved, add the honey, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

  8. By this point, the bananas should be ready to come out of the oven. If they are soft and the peels are black or dark brown, they are ready to come out!

  9. Pour the sauce over the bananas and serve. Also good with a scoop of lowfat ice cream or whipped topping.
