Recipe Ingredients for Baked Apple

1 apple, cored
1 teaspoon raisins
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dash fresh nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Baked Apple

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Place cored apple in a square of foil (if you use an apple slicer/corer, break the core off and push the apple back out the slicer to keep the pieces together with the base).

  3. Put a teaspoon of raisins in the core.

  4. Sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar on top the raisin.

  5. Put the cinnamon and nutmeg on top.

  6. Close the foil around the apple.

  7. Bake 20-30 minutes.

  8. I bake several and use them with a bowl of hot oatmeal.
