Apple pie in the morning can be a healthy breakfast!

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Apple Pie Oatmeal

1/3 cup old fashioned oats
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup apple juice
1/2 Braeburn apple
1 dash of vanilla
1 dash of cinnamon
1 dash of nutmeg
2 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Baked Apple Pie Oatmeal

  1. Peel & chop apple, then microwave for 1 minute.

  2. Combine all ingredients, mix and bake at 375 for 20 minutes.

  3. Eat immediately, or if you?re making it ahead of time like I did, stash in the fridge overnight and microwave for 1.5 minutes in the morning.
