Recipe Ingredients for Baked Apple Crisp (from Cooking Light)

8 cups apples, unpeeled
2 tbsp granulated sugar
4 1/2 tsp lemon juice
4 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
1 1/2 cups Applesauce
1 cup uncooked rolled oats
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup evaporated skim milk
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
2 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt

Recipe Directions for Baked Apple Crisp (from Cooking Light)

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. Spray 2-quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  3. In large bowl, toss apple slices with granulated sugar, lemon juice and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.

  4. Spoon into prepared dish.

  5. Spread apple sauce evenly over apple mixture.

  6. In medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, evaporated milk, dry milk powder and remaining 2 teaspoons cinnamon.

  7. Spread over applesauce.

  8. Bake 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly. Cool slightly; serve warm.

  9. Top each serving with a dollop of yogurt.
