495 grams Squash, Winter, Acorn
0.25 tbsp Butter
3 tsp packed Sugars, Brown
0.5 tsp Nutmeg, Ground

Recipe Directions for Baked Acorn Squash

  1. Heat oven to 400 F

  2. Split squash lengthwise; deseed

  3. Cut slashes into the flesh

  4. Add butter, brown sugar and nutmeg

  5. Place on baking sheet in about 1/4 inch of water

  6. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes
