Acorn squash backed in pumpkin spices.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Acorn Squash

1 pound acorn squash
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon ginger

Recipe Directions for Baked Acorn Squash

  1. Cut acorn squash into two halves.

  2. Remove seeds and strings from inside of squash.

  3. stir cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger together in a small bowl.

  4. Sprinkle the fleshy side of the squash with cinnamon mixture.

  5. Place squash fleshy side up in a glass baking dish with 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the pan.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes on 350 degrees or until the flesh of the squash is soft.

  7. Each half serves 2 people.
