Acorn squash baked with brown sugar.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked acorn squash

2 acorn squash
4 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Baked acorn squash

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.

  3. Wash squash and cut into halves. Remove seeds. Cut into quarters.

  4. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp olive oil on each quarter; massage in.

  5. Bake at 400 F for 45 minutes.

  6. Melt butter and mix in brown sugar. Spread onto each quarter with a pastry brush.

  7. Bake an additional 15 minutes.
