Acorn squash baked with brown sugar and cinnamon

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Acorn Squash

1 squash (4 inch dia)(431 g) Squash, Winter, Acorn
1 tbsp Butter
50 grams Dark Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Baked Acorn Squash

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.

  2. Cut the acorn squash in half and scrape out the seeds.

  3. Place the squash cut side down in the baking dish and bake for about 30-45 minutes.

  4. Take the squash out and turn it so it is cut side up in a baking dish, then put half of the butter, sugar, and cinnamon in each half.

  5. Put an inch or two of water in the bottom of the baking dish and bake for another 30 minutes, or until soft.
