A muffin made with basic muffin batter and 3 pieces of bacon chopped up and added to it. Not much bacon flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Bacon Muffins

3 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
2 cup White Flour, Unbleached
1 tsp Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
6 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 medium Egg, Whole
1 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
0.25 cup Butter

Recipe Directions for Bacon Muffins

Preheat oven to 375F. Butter muffin pans. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Add the egg slightly beaten, milk, and butter stirring until flour is dampened Add in crumbled bacon. Spoon into muffin pans filling each cup to 2/3 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes
