Recipe Ingredients for Bacon corn cakes

1/2 cup chopped ham
1/3 cup onion, diced
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp chives, chopped
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2/3 cup skim milk
1 egg
1 tbsp oil
1 cup corn kernels
1/2 cup cheese, Monteray Jack

Recipe Directions for Bacon corn cakes

  1. Mix the dry stuff.

  2. Beat the egg, milk and oil. Add to dry with corn and stir just to moisten.

  3. Stir in cheese.

  4. Brown on a hot griddle till golden.
