The official Bacardi Rum Cake, without nuts.

Recipe Ingredients for Bacardi Rum Cake

1 package yellow cake mix
1 package vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup light rum
1/4 pound butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light rum

Recipe Directions for Bacardi Rum Cake

  1. Cake:

  2. Preheat over to 325 degrees.

  3. Grease and flour Bundt cake pan.

  4. Mix first six ingredients together, pour into Bundt pan.

  5. Bake one hour, let cool.

  6. Invert pan on serving plate, prick top of cake. Spoon glaze evenly over top of cake.

  7. Glaze:

  8. Melt butter in saicepan, stir in water and sugar.

  9. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  10. Remove from heat, stir in rum.
