This simple salad is a delicious accompaniment for all manner of main courses

Recipe Ingredients for Baby turnip, green bean and tahini salad -V B+

150 grams baby turnip
1.31 cup green beans
3 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tbsp sesame seeds
1 dash Sea salt
1 dash black pepper

Recipe Directions for Baby turnip, green bean and tahini salad -V B+

  1. First, prepare the vegetables: in separate pans, boil the baby turnips for 15 minutes, until just soft, and boil the green beans for 5 minutes. Place them both in a bowl.

  2. Put the tahini, lemon juice, olive oil and half the sesame seeds in a bowl and combine. Season, then drizzle over the vegetables. Mix lightly with your fingertips and arrange on a plate. Sprinkle over the rest of the sesame seeds and serve.
