Modified a Taste of Home recipe to fit our likes, the dressing is a direct copy, but the veggies added and the ham are mine.

Recipe Ingredients for Bab's Italian Pasta Salad

8 oz rotini pasta
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 small carrots, julliened
2 oz deli ham, chopped
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon dry basil
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Bab's Italian Pasta Salad

boil the pasta al dente. drain. microwave the peas 2 minutes in a little bit of water. Mix the olive oil, vinegar, sugar and spices. I also add some ground pepper. Mix the pasta, cooked peas, juliened carrots, and chopped ham, the pour dressing over the salad, stir and marinate in the fridge until ready to eat.
