Body For Life "Dad's Great Green Chili" modified (no hominy, substitute beans)

Recipe Ingredients for B4L Green Chili (modified)

8 cups
1 onion, chopped
18 ounces chicken breast, meat only
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 tsp cumin
12 tbsp
1 cup
8 tsp
6 tbsp

Recipe Directions for B4L Green Chili (modified)

  1. Combine chicken broth, onion, and chicken breasts. Bring to a boil for 20 minutes.

  2. Remove chicken from pan.

  3. Blend gravy mix, chilies, garlic, cilantro, cumin, jalapenos, and breans. Bring to a boil-then reduce to low heat.

  4. Shred chicken and add it back to pot. Cover and simmer 40 minutes.

  5. Serve with warm flour tortillas and low fat sour cream (not calculated into calorie count).
