A classic granola bar recipe with quite a few modifications for the ingredients on hand.

Recipe Ingredients for Azure's Granola Bars

2 cups quick oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cream of wheat
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons coconut flakes
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup honey
1 egg
1/2 banana
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Azure's Granola Bars

  1. Preheat the over to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking pan.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.

  3. Make a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients. Mix well.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the baking pan. Leave space so that the mixture does not touch the sides of the pan.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the bars begin to turn golden brown at the edges. Do not overcook or the bars will become very hard. Cool for five minutes and cut the bars while they are still warm.
