My own version of a pretty standard salsa, great if you love a mix of sweet and spicy (increase the jalapeno/habanero if you like a bigger kick). Good with tortilla chips, fajitas, chicken or fish.

Recipe Ingredients for Avocado and Mango Salsa

1 avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
1 mango, peeled, pitted and diced
1 small red onion, chopped
1 orange bell pepper, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper or habanero pepper, seeded and finely chopped
2 tbsp. lime juice (preferably fresh)
1 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
1 salt to taste

Recipe Directions for Avocado and Mango Salsa

  1. Place the avocado in a serving bowl, and mix with the lime juice.The avocado browns quickly after cut unless mixed with the lime juice.

  2. Mix in the remaining ingredients.
