Recipe Ingredients for Autumn Apple Soup

6 cups organic vegetable broth
2 potato medium
2 apple medium
1 stalk broccoli
1/2 medium carrot
2/3 cup potato flour
2 tbsp Promise Fat-Free Buttery Spread

Recipe Directions for Autumn Apple Soup

  1. Start warming up the broth in a pan on the stove.

  2. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

  3. Chop the potatoes into one-inch pieces and throw them in the broth. Bring those to a boil.

  4. Break up the carrot and broccoli so they will fit in the blender, and blend them with a little bit of water until the texture is kind of grainy and soupy at the same time.

  5. Combine the carrot/broccoli mush with the boiling broth and potatoes.

  6. Add some spices that you like and let it all boil so the potatoes cook. Stir occasionally.

  7. Slice the apples up, removing the core. Spread them out on a cookie sheet and put some sort of cinnamon spice blend on them. Bake them until they smell good, then flip them, then bake them some more.

  8. Take them out, chop them into small pieces like the potatoes, and put them in the soup.

  9. Stir that around so the flavors meld; let it simmer a bit.

  10. Slowly add in a little potato flour at a time, whisking as you go, so it doesn't clump up.

  11. When it starts to smell REALLY good, blend it all into a soupy form. (Might be difficult. Make it work lol.)

  12. Let it simmer until everyone's ready to eat. Serve with crackers. :)
