traditional naan recipe using yogurt

Recipe Ingredients for authentic naan

2 cups Wheat Flour
3/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoons Sugar
1/4 teaspoons Salt
1/2 cups Warm Milk
1/2 cups Yogurt
1/2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe Directions for authentic naan

stir together all dry ingredients in large bowl except olive oil. mix all of the wet ingredients in a separate container. make a small hole in the dry ingredients and whisk in half of the wet mixture, add more of the wet mixture in small amounts until a soft barely sticky dough forms. pat dough into a round, score into eight equal pieces without separating and rest the dough for two hours. after rest cook the naan over a hot grill or in a very hot cast iron pan, flipping once. brush with melted butter and serve.
