Austrian style pork and caraway stew

Recipe Ingredients for Austrian style pork and caraway stew

672 g potatoes
450 g pork
3 medium carrots
1 head cabbage
2 tbsp caraway seed
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp black peppercorns
1 medium onion
450 ml pork stock

Recipe Directions for Austrian style pork and caraway stew

  1. Layer potatoes, pork, carrots, cabbage, potatoes and finally onion rings in a large stock pot, sprinkling with a mixture of ground caraway seed, peppercorns and salt over each layer.

  2. Pour the pork stock over the other ingredients.

  3. Cook in preheated oven at 180C for 2.5 hours
