Recipe Ingredients for Aunty Kay's Chicken Soup

1.74 kg chicken
12 cups water
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup orzo
148 g spinach
1 egg
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Aunty Kay's Chicken Soup

  1. Bring chicken in water with whole garlic cloves and lemon juice to boil and then simmer until falling off the bones.

  2. Cool and remove skin and bones and other yucky parts.

  3. Place chicken back in water and bring to boil again.

  4. Add ziti, then while simmering add spinach.

  5. Mix egg and parmesan and whisk into soup.
